
Infrastructure Inspection Project
Planned and executed tower inspections across Newfoundland, coordinating contractors and internal teams, access requirements, tower shutdowns, and logistics.
Project Overview
Participated in a five-day remote infrastructure inspection trip across Northern Newfoundland, visiting approximately 10 coastal sites including Norris Point, St. Anthony, L'Anse aux Meadows, and more. The trip involved coordinating tower inspections, overseeing contractors, managing site logistics, and ensuring alignment between engineering teams and field personnel.
Across two work terms, I supported multiple additional site visits, including remote helicopter-access locations and interprovincial travel for meetings and inspections.
The Problem
Coastal infrastructure requires regular inspection and maintenance, often in logistically complex and weather-sensitive environments.
The challenge was coordinating contractor activities, managing inspection schedules and shutdown periods, and ensuring work was completed safely, on time, and within scope.
My Contributions
Coordinated inspection schedules and managed site logistics, including temporary shutdown periods
Oversaw contractor work at multiple sites to ensure alignment with project requirements
Managed project documentation and inspection records
Supported budgeting and scope tracking
Communicated updates between contractors, engineers, and operations personnel
Maintained organization across multiple active sites to align with our five-day schedule
